Map-by-Map Loot Value Tier List [2026] | Tarkov Maps Ranked
Complete Tarkov map tier list ranked by loot value. Find the best maps for making money in Escape from Tarkov.
Choosing the right map for your skill level and loadout is one of the most impactful decisions you make in Escape from Tarkov. Higher-tier maps pay more rubles per raid, but they also demand better gear, faster decision-making, and a higher tolerance for losing your kit. This tier list ranks every map by average loot value against the risk required to extract consistently.
Note: Values based on average extracts with basic loot runs. Key rooms, rare spawns, and boss kills can significantly increase these numbers.

Map Breakdowns
Labs
Labs is the highest-earning map in the game but demands entry keycards that cost anywhere from 10K to several million rubles each. The player base here is among the most experienced in Tarkov, and lab rats run top-tier gear. Expect to die frequently until you learn the layout and rotation routes. The reward for mastering Labs is consistent 500K-2M ruble extracts.
Lighthouse
Lighthouse combines lucrative Rogue bases, the Water Treatment Plant, and sniper corridors into one of the most profitable open maps available. The Rogues carry quality military gear and the loot spawns inside the facility rival Reserve. Getting to and from high-value areas is dangerous, but players who know the routes extract with strong profits consistently.
Reserve
Reserve is the go-to map for military tech loot — graphics cards, military cables, and weapon parts spawn in high concentrations. The underground extract adds tension, and Raiders are an ever-present threat in the late game, but they also drop valuable loot. Raiders become easier to farm once you understand their patrol routes.
Shoreline
Shoreline is the ideal progression map. The Resort contains some of the best key-locked rooms in the game, but even a basic loot run through the outlying areas yields consistent returns. The map is large enough that not every raid forces contact, making it forgiving for players who prefer to avoid fights.
Interchange and Streets
Both maps sit at roughly 200K average. Interchange's tech stores and OLI backend offer high-value item spawns, while Streets rewards players who invest in keys for apartment rooms and clinic offices. Streets has a reputation for intense player-versus-player combat due to the dense urban environment.
Customs and Woods
These are the learning maps. Customs teaches the fundamentals of contact engagement, map flow, and extract positioning. Woods is quieter and suits players who prefer extended sneaking and sniping. Neither map is optimized for raw profit, but both are excellent places to practice without hemorrhaging expensive kits.
Best Maps for Money Making
Beginner: Shoreline
Large map with plenty of looting time. Resort rooms offer great rewards with moderate risk. You can learn profitable routes without needing expensive gear or deep map knowledge.
Intermediate: Reserve
High-value military loot and tech spawns. Raiders provide additional profit opportunities once you know how to handle them. Bring enough firepower to deal with aggressive AI.
Expert: Labs
The highest profit potential but requires keycards, skill, and acceptance of frequent deaths. Build your Labs knowledge slowly with cheap keycard entry points before committing expensive loadouts.
