Boss Farming Overview

Boss farming is one of the most lucrative PvE activities in Tarkov. Each boss has a unique loot table with items that sell for premium prices on the flea market. However, bosses also present significant risk - they hit hard, have guards, and attract other PMCs.

This guide ranks every boss by their average loot value based on current flea market prices, factoring in spawn rates, guard loot, and the difficulty of extraction.

Boss Loot Value Rankings

S Tier - Killa (Interchange)

Avg. loot value: 450,000-900,000 ₽

Key drops: RPK, Killa armor, helmet with visor

A Tier - Shturman (Woods)

Avg. loot value: 300,000-700,000 ₽

Key drops: Red Rebel, SVD, keytool chance

A Tier - Sanitar (Shoreline)

Avg. loot value: 250,000-600,000 ₽

Key drops: Rare stims, LEDx chance, meds

B Tier - Reshala (Customs)

Killa (Interchange)

Killa is the most profitable boss to farm consistently. His unique RPK with drum mag, Maska helmet, and Killa's armor are all high-value flea market items. Guards carry modded AKs worth stripping.

Shturman (Woods)

Red Rebel has approximately a 3-5% drop rate. Don't farm Shturman exclusively for it - the base loot should be profitable enough on its own.

Reshala (Customs)

Reshala himself carries a Golden TT pistol and his guards drop decent mid-tier gear. He's the easiest boss to kill, making him great for consistent, low-risk farming.

Sanitar (Shoreline)

Sanitar's main value is his rare stim injectors and medical supplies. He can drop LEDx, Obdolbos, and other high-value medical items worth 100,000-500,000 ₽ each.

Tagilla (Factory)

Tagilla's class 6 welding helmet and body armor are his main value items. Factory runs are fast but risky due to the confined space and aggressive PMCs.

Knight, Birdeye & Big Pipe

The trio on Lighthouse and Woods carry extremely high-value gear including thermal scopes, suppressed weapons, and top-tier ammo. However, they're the hardest bosses in the game.

Combined Value

If you kill all three, expect 800,000-1,500,000 ₽ in gear. Their weapons alone (AXMC, MCX, M4) can sell for 200,000 ₽+ each on the flea market.

Boss loot values fluctuate significantly throughout the wipe. Armor and helmets are worth the most during early-to-mid wipe when supply is low. Late wipe, weapon mods and rare items retain value better than armor.
